The largest skiing domain in the Val d’Anniviers

At day break, you wiil be enchanted by the white magic, when the sun combines with the fresh fallen snow. Your pleasure will multipied tenfold by the splendour of the scenery … Welcome to the skiing domain of St-Luc/Chandolin!


Opening of the skiable domain from December 19 2009 till April 18 2010.
Facing the grand neighbouring 4000 metres summits, the ski slopes of Chandolin / St Luc, situated between 1650 and 3000 metres altitude offer skiers of all levels:
– guaranteed snow (thanks to snow cannons),
– 75 Km of slopes,
– 1 funiculaire railway, 2 chairlifts, 13 skilifts,
– a snowpark,
– a sledge slope and
– a free bus shuttle service.

Merci de penser aussi aux marcheurs. Bravo pour les bancs bien dégagés sur le sentier des planètes à Tignousa. Ce n'était pas le cas les autres années.

Snowpark

The Snowpark is situed in the heart of the ski slopes, beside the Tignousa skilift.


You will find there all what you need.
From the beginner to the advanced everyone can have fun. Music and long chairs for relaxing and tables and grill for a little snack.

Swiss Ski School
Within the confines of the ‘Swiss Snow Kids Village’, young budding champions under 5 can be initiated to the joys (and sometimes the small mishaps) of accompanied skiing by specially trained instructors. They can take their first steps to skiing safely in a protected area. Adequate educational material is provided as well as a shelter in the event of really cold weather.

58th Bella-Tola Trophy
The 7 of March 2010 come and watch the popular race down the most prestigious slope of the skiing domain. Canteen and catering available at the finish.

Technical details on the slope:
Start 2910 metres .
Finish 1710 metres.
Difference in altitude 1200 metres.
Length : 6 km

1st part : downhill category, over alpine pastureland
2nd part : super giant category, through the forest


Arrival : Gîte du Prilett', Prilett Leisure Centre, St-Luc ice-rink


Popular downhill race : helmet compulsory, protections recommended

Magnifique course, piste extrêmement bien préparée, organisation parfaite. C'était génial cette année, à part le froid, mais ça on ne peut rien y faire ! Bravo aux organisateurs, je me réjouis d'y revenir la semaine prochaine.
